For our first run of Japanese denim, we settled on a 14oz fabric, in 100% cotton.
Milled in Okayama, Japan’s denim capital, the yarn is rope dyed by the traditional dye-house Sakamoto, ensuring each pair develops a totally unique fade and texture over time.
Holding its structure beautifully through multiple wears, the heavier weight of the fabric will see you through, whatever the weather. We’ve trimmed with soft twilled ecru pocketing and finished with Swiss hardware in an antique copper finish.
It's a cut above.
Our stuntman Maxim is 6'1". He wears a 32" waist in Build A, with a 32" inside leg.
Our Japanese denim is made with 98% Cotton and 2% Elastane.
New denim can experience some colour transfer with contact. So take a little extra care in the early days — especially with light coloured garments and upholstery. Be sure to wash at 30°C or lower with similar colours, low iron and no tumble dry if you can avoid it. No bleach. Wash inside out.
